Paul
Hopman

As a wildlife
illustrator, there are subjects everywhere. All animals have unique
characteristics. Through observing, creative disciplines and practice an
artist can capture the spirit of the animal or any other subject at
hand.
With encouragement from both parents, Paul earned a degree from the
American Academy of Art. Being an outdoor enthusiast, Paul has spent
hours, days and weeks in forests, plains and tundra, all to capture a
glimpse or a possible photo of wild game. National zoos and parks offer
an abundant resource to photograph his subjects. He is working with
several local animal organizations to raise awareness and support their
causes, specifically endangered species.
