Susan was recently selected and showcased as one of the up and coming emerging artists for the prestigious 2006 Gasparilla Art Festival in Tampa, Fl. Her painting

When The Saints Come Marching In

was also selected as the banner piece for "A Song In your Heart" theme show.

Susan was represented in a one-woman show at The Kottler Gallery in Tampa and has been included in group shows at The Beach Art Center, the Gulfcoast Museum, St. Petersburg Center for the Arts, Florida Watercolor Society, and the Imago Art Group.

Susan's work has been exhibited in many local galleries, as well as galleries in Key West, Fl. Although trained in traditional methods, Susan paints in a free flowing manner on YUPO (an environmentally friendly plastic). This slick, brilliant white surface allows the paint to run, stay bright, and create unusual textures. Her paintings interpret rather than replicate breathtaking vistas, fauna and flora of the tropics with the use of bright vivid colors and large fluid brush strokes.
