CAST PAPER MOLD
ARTISTS
Lori Pandy

Though born in Laredo, Texas, Lori Pandy
has traveled extensively. Living in Texas, Florida, Virginia, West
Virginia, California, Tennessee, and Germany has broadened her horizons
and given her a wide view of the world around us. She now resides in
Fort Collins, Colorado, where she sculpts from her home studio.
"To paraphrase Georgia O'Keefe," states
Pandy, a 1982 graduate of Ringling School of Art and Design, "I've found
a medium that does the work for me." After years of painting in
watercolors and acrylics and selling her work in galleries, Lori
discovered clay. "It was love at first squish. Quite frankly I can't
explain how I work; I just feel the form and volume of the
subject that I'm working in -- be it flowers, birds, wildlife, or golf
clubs."
Lori's work begins with exhaustive
research -- learning the feather pattern of birds, or the vining habits
of flowers. Next, she creates a series of sketches, collaborating with
ICF's art department to capture the right look and feel. Finally, the
work is built up and carved down in plastelina clay. Each relief is
inscribed with rich detail and texture as she strives to capture the
likeness and essence of her subject matter.
Glenda Barnes

A native of Western Kansas, Glenda Barnes
is a professional artist living in South Florida.
Barnes uses her extensive experience to
combine line, color and texture in the execution of her abstract acrylic
paintings. The artist received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in
graphic design and painting from Fort Hays State University in Hays,
Kansas.
Bob Copper

Bob Copper, a native of Denver, Colorado,
has been a professional artist for the last 15 years, traveling
extensively in the U.S. In 1984, Bob turned his talents to relief
sculpture and the medium of cast paper, achieving extremely fine detail
in a large variety of subjects.
Bob's wife, Melinda, is a Florida native
and also a versatile artist. Both of the Coppers enjoy painting "When we
get a chance." Their work is in galleries throughout the country.
