ICF has been in business since 1988 as a cast paper and original artwork company selling wholesale only. The current owners, Linda and Jack Albrecht,

have operated the business since 1996.

OUR EMPLOYEES

Tracy started as a "temporary employee" in 1996 in the casting department. Instead of leaving, she moved into each of the other departments and is now an expert in all areas of the operation.

Beth joined the company in 2006 as the "chief frame maker" since she formerly worked for a frame manufacturer. In addition to making frames, she assists in the casting, art, and production departments.

2005: Building Fire

ICF made several major changes after losing the building to an electrical fire in March 2005. The damage was so severe and widespread, that the only choice was to completely gut the interior and roof. Fortunately, ICF had three FANTASTIC employees at the time: Tracy, Dave, and Herbert.

 

They persevered by emptying the building of salvageable equipment, cleaning it, and put it into 3 trailers, the undamaged storage shed, and our outdoor, screened area. The team worked out of the trailers and outdoor areas, continuing to meet customer orders, until February 2006, when the building was ready to re-occupy.

 

The "reopening" gave ICF an opportunity to provide a showroom and open the business to retail customers.

ICF also decided to expand in other ways. Previously, framing was done only if customers wanted it for purchased artwork. Now, ICF was in a position to offer general and custom framing, more custom artwork, both commercial and home decorating projects, and they keep growing.
